INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS INVESTIGATION VISA (456 VISA)

Business investigation 456 Visa (Short stay) is a category of visa which the Australian Government created in order to facilitate overseas business people to conduct business investigation and commercial intercourse in Australia so as to promote Australia's economic development. Since the introduction of this visa category, this Centre has achieved many successful cases, hence we have full understanding of the specific criteria and application skills for this sort of visas and have accumulated rich experience. It is this Centre that took the lead in helping a large number of overseas people obtain the visas to Australia successfully thus laid a foundation for them to realise their ambitions in Australia.
In order to let our clients and the prospective applicant to gain an understanding of this category of visas, we would like to make the following introduction.

  1. What is a 456 business investigation visa?
    456 visa can be classified into short term stay visa and 5-year multiple entry visa.
    The application for a short term stay visa must be made outside Australia and it is valid for 1-3 months.
    The application for a 5-year multiple entry visa must be made outside Australia. The visa holder can re-enter Australia freely within 5 years and stay for three months on each arrival.
  2. Requirements for the applicant
    Any overseas-based large or medium-sized company whose offshore company is at present conducting or preparing for some business projects, or its managerial staff who intend to expand business in Australia can make the application through providing business proposals, certificate(s) of Company registration and other relevant documentation presented by the offshore company.
    Or
    The applicant who him/herself is the owner of a sizeable overseas company (means any company outside Australia) which can be private or jointly operated, intends to investigate Australia' market, expand their business and explore more development opportunities. These people can make the application by providing their companies' relevant documentation.
  3. This Centre will provide the applicant with the following services:
    1. Undertaking a free preassessment of the relevant materials provided by the applicant required by the Centre;
    2. Accepting the applicant's entrustment and fulfilling the related formalities when the preassessment is passed;
    3. Preparing detailed information and materials for the applicant;
    4. After signing the contract, the Centre will, based on the original materials provided by the applicant, prepare a complete set of application documents for the applicant, including sponsorship application, legal declarations, business proposals, filling out forms, translating documents and delivering documents;
    5. Submitting the application (The Centre will be responsible for submitting the application to the Australian Immigration Office or its overseas posts);
    6. Keeping in touch with the Immigration Department until the application is granted (in terms of providing supplementary documents, inquiring about the progress of processing so as to ensure the applicant can get the visa at an early date).
  4. The documents that must be provided:
    The applicant's notarial certificate of date of birth, notarial certificate of qualifications (the photo copy of the highest academic level or graduation certification), notarial certificate of working experience or the certificate from the applicant's work unit, the copy of business license (chopped with the company's stamp), the applicant's calling card as well as the company's balance sheet, profit and loss account or financial report.
  5. The documents that the Centre suggests to provide:
    The company profile, products introduction, the relevant documents that demonstrate business contacts between the company and Australia or other countries, the photos of the company and its products and the relevant documents such, as accounts, that demonstrate the company's achievements.

As each individual applicant has different qualifications, background, economic strength and business intention, the materials needed for each application is also different. After the applicant has officially entrusted the Centre with the handling of their application, we will provide a detailed list of documents that should be prepared by the applicant, based on each case's particular conditions. Under some circumstances, as the applicant is unable to get all the materials required for the application. In that case, in order not to miss good opportunities resulting from delaying the application (because the Australian Migration Regulations are frequently amended), the applicant may lodge the application first and supplement the relevant materials later on.

Business investigation 456 visa which creates great business exploration opportunities for many people in business community is a prelude to applying for a long stay business visa and business investment migration (For details please see The Introduction To 457 Working Visa And Business Investment Migration). If the applicant makes the application rashly by themselves or entrust the application to some non-professional migration company, their visa record may affect their applications for a long stay visa or a migration visa in the future. Therefore, the applicant should make a long-term plan and leave a good record in their visa application file. This Centre has established a professional application handling system with an overall planning which progresses from short term entry to long stay visa and further to business migration. At the same time we can provide experienced professional services on arranging the applicant's children to study in Australian schools thus easing the applicant's worries about their children's education in Australia.

Established in 1989, this Centre is one of the largest migration and education institutions in Australia. By sticking to the principle of "Refund full fees if the application is unsuccessful"( Not including the basic administration charges), and on the strength of many years' experience as well as remarkable successful record, the Centre has gained a very good reputation. Any inquiries are welcomed!
